David Boyles of Boyles Motors in Maryville just returned from D-C, spending Monday and Tuesday of this week personally visiting with congressional members after being told by General Motors they may drop his dealership affiliation.
Boyles was supporting the "Automobile Dealer Economic Rights Restoration Act", or U-S House Resolution 27-43.
He also is promoting a letter-writing campaign of his customers in which he hopes to gather 5 thousand letters of support to keep the dealership selling General Motors.
Boyle's is also launching a 3-day rally starting next Thursday- all moves similar to the dealership in Marceline, which successfully got G-M to reverse its decision to drop that dealership.
