Chilli Council

The Council agreed to a financial settlement with A-T-&-T Mobility, following a lawsuit involving a large portion of the state. The City of Chillicothe should receive around $92,000 from the settlement.

The City Council also discussed a hospital study presented by Wipfli (whip-flee). City Administrator Dean Brookshire says the study is just a small step in a process that could mean a new hospital for Chillicothe.

A Dream Initiative progress report was also presented at the Council. Progress continues on the $400,000 dollar Silver Moon Plaza. Brookshire says Chillicothe residents are excited about the downtown renovations, and are proud of what they consider one of the best downtown districts in the state.
