Glenn Miller

The Society has purchased the birthplace property of Glenn Miller and plan to build a museum in his honor.
The museum will be filled of memorabilia of Glenn Miller that has been donated to the birthplace society over the years.
Marvin Negley, President of the Glenn Miller Birthplace Society, says they will finally have a place to display all their Glenn Miller memorabilia.
The ground breaking will start this weekend's thirty-fourth Glenn Miller Festival.
This years festival includes the world famous Glenn Miller Orchestra, the Bill Baker Big Band and the 312th United States Army Band.
The festival will be in Clarinda this weekend starting tomorrow at four.
