Gallatin, MO (2009-06-17) The Gallatin City Council considers a new storm siren based on reaction from residents.
At the last City Board of Aldermen meeting Police Chief Mark Richards reported at a recent storm they had the largest turnout at the Storm Shelter to date.
An electrical outage created a situation where the old storm siren at City Hall wouldn't stay on.
City officials now are looking into what it would cost to upgrade the old siren with new technology.
