The Missouri Department of Agriculture will hold a meeting to establish a payout plan to distribute proceeds of bonds to those farmers.
The company shut down when the owner, Danny Frowman, surrendered his warehouse and dealer licenses last February.
Frowman claimed there was not enough money to pay customers and the elevator has been closed since then…and the state Ag Department took over company operations.
Lloyd Wilson is the Director of the Grain Inspection and Warehousing Division.
He says the hearing will tell farmers about the department's efforts to compensate them.
The meeting is at the Gallatin High School and starts tonight at 6:30.
