Chillicothe Car Chase

Officers say they saw it sideswipe a utility pole at the intersection of Jackson and Broadway in Chillicothe and realized it was the one reported stolen in Meadville.

They gave chase, where they say the driver took off, drove the vehicle into a tree while driving through someone's yard.

That's when the driver refused to get out and was trying to re-start the car when an officer opened the driver side door and pulled the suspect out.

No name is available but the Chillicothe police say the 33 year old driver was arrested for stolen property, resisting arrest by fleeing, leaving the scene of an accident, driving while revoked, carless and imprudent driving, failure to drive on the right half of the road… and driving while intoxicated.
