It's a children's sign language workshop on the campus of Northwest Missouri State. It's put on by the University's American Sign Language Club, and teaches children how to sign colors, emotions, the alphabet, and - since valentine's day is coming up- love songs. Club advisor Marcy Rouch says the day is designed to get Northwest students involved with the Maryville community- and vice-versa. The event runs from 9 to noon tomorrow at the Student Union ballroom on the Northwest campus. The cost is 7 dollars per child.
