Nodaway county has been chosen to receive more than 13 thousand dollars to supplement emergency food and shelter programs in the area.
The community services group in Maryville will decide how to use the federal dollars but are accepting applications through the end of today.
Organizations interested must be private non-profits or units of governments, have an accounting system, have demonstrated the ability to deliver emergency food or shelter and other requirements.
You can contact Linda Stephens- the Maryville FEMA Board Chair- for more information.
