The Northwest Missouri judge on the short-list to join the state's highest court is being interviewed by the governor.
Atchison County, Missouri associate circuit judge Zel Fisher is one of three finalists the governor is meeting with this week to determine who will take the vacant seat on the Missouri supreme court.
The three judges were given to the governor in August by a special commission.
Governor Blunt says the personal interviews are an important part of his review process.
By law he has about two more weeks to choose who will fill the vacancy.
