Mammoth Follies

"Mammoth Follies" is a play featuring song-and-dance routines as well as jokes about prehistoric creatures.

The event will be held at the Atlantic High School auditorium at one in the afternoon.

Hudson Vagabond Puppets will put on the performance, using giant puppets operated by multiple people, similar to the bunraku style of puppetry used in japan.

Lana White, executive director of the Performing Arts and Education Association of Southwest Iowa, says "Mammoth Follies" will be an educational experience for both adults and children.

White says tickets are still available, and tickets can be purchased at the door.
