Wind Symphony

A historic first is in store for music lovers this weekend in Maryville.
The northwest wind symphony is joining with the nodaway chorale for a concert on Sunday.
Wind symphony director Carl Kling says the first-ever joint performance will have a patriotic theme, which was driven by the collaboration between the two groups.
The concert will also feature the "Battle Hymn of the Republic" and other works with an "Americana" theme.
The wind symphony and chorale concert is this Sunday starting at 3 in teh Charles Johnson Theater inside the music building on the Northwest Campus in Maryville.
